Hello, I don´t fall into the "troll" category, but this paper is not more than reading httpd.apache.org/.../windows.html

I was expecting to see some advanced "apache securing" guide or something of the likes.

I have read other posts and I am absolutely sure you can do better than this.

Nice clear and concise summary! A few corrections (time passes quickly);

It should no longer be necessary to disable UAC even for installation;

the installer and ApacheMonitor now behave with Vista/Longhorn as of

the 2.2.8 release (which is really the one version that you should use).

And I would have added something about creating a "apache" user account

and toggling the Apache service to "Run As" that guest user account.

Otherwise, nicely done.
