Why can I not get to my virtuals from other workstations? It seems like i can only use the software locally. Is this true, I am running it on XP Pro SP2 with 2GB ram and 1TB of storage space. What is really the advantage if i can't get to the vertuals from other workstations with in my own network?

Windows Server is not supported under Virtual PC, but I have set this up many times with no problems, and I know many users who have hit it.

Have anyone created a fresh 2003 server on a fresh install of virtual PC 2007

see what MS says about it

there is no declared support for it

notice there is no server for guest OS

I have not heard of this specific problem, but we have made a number of fixes for Linux guest operating systems, so please try it out and let me know if the problem persists (you can ping me on http://blogs.msdn.com/Virtual_PC_Guy).

Last time I tried to run a Linux distro using Virtual PC 2004 on a dual-core machine, I got a kernel panic. That never happens on a single-core machine. Do you have any idea why that would happen, and if it has been fixed in VPC 2007?

Looks like it can't be run in XP home. :(
