&lt;p&gt;I really think that OSCON and Linux World should merge because the two seem like a normal fit. &amp;nbsp;But you're right...Linux World has lost the &amp;quot;buzz&amp;quot; it once had.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From what I've read, you're not alone in that impression.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I believe that's a part of OSCON's raison d'etre. &amp;nbsp;LinuxWorld has been around for a lot longer, but a lot of people became dismayed at its increasing commercialization.&lt;/p&gt;
