Hey everyone.

I have something to say, about aloe vera, something about which you wrote above, about health and personal care... For a long time, I and my fine friend use the products of the FLP. We each time see the fine results and also we make money for our families and we are happy. My friend works with Aloe in the company of Forever Living Products has more than 5 years (My friend works ONLY in the Forever Living Products Company and has a wife and three children). I know aloe Vera products for skin care for a long time, but a year ago, began working as a distributor in the flp company.

Of course, job is so hard, but in no other case, You can earn so much much money with so much much fun and good smiling faces around...

So if you want to discuss something about your article, and about my experience with Aloe Vera products for skin care, I'll always be glad to talk.

What stands out in the article is Microsoft's attempt to show itself as being terribly nieve and new to the UNIX operatins system and the open-source concept:
"A Piece of Fiber and a Hole in the Wall"
"When Hilf was asked to build a lab and hire a team of researchers, he had no idea that he would literally be starting from scratch."

These statements seem almost as if they are trying to cover up some previous behavior in regards to open-source or UNIX software that Microsoft is selfconcious about. I find it almost impossible to swallow that Microsoft has no non-windows tech experts, when they used Unix varients for their Hotmail servers. Unless Microsoft is some kind of brainwashing cult, it's impossible that none of IT personnel had some kind of UNIX training. Wasn't it Bill Gates himself who designed MS-DOS to mimic a UNIX environment?

Aside from the obvious reason that Microsoft can't openly state that they have used and experimented other operating systems in the past, they also want to be cleared of any suspicion that they may have been studying open-source software and implementing its progress in technology. They've done this in the past, take Apple's GUI environment for example, so I wouldn't put it past them that they didn't do it again. I could be wrong, but it still disturbs me how the article emphasis this point too much.

I am reading a lot of negativity here. I am big into Open Source. Thinking that open source will over take the world is just unreasonable. All compaies need support. There are few CFO's, CIO's or any other officer that will run their datacenter on software for which there is no 1-800-help-me phone number.

Take centOS for example. its a great OS, very stable. If the big cheese needs support he/she wants to call for it. RHEL is great. Look at the pricing structure once all is said and done.

I dont think there are enough linux support professionals out there to satisfy this support need. This will change going forward but it is going to be hard for open source to get a strong foothold in the market for support reasons alone.

I am very, very happy to hear that Microsoft is working on making their software compatable with others. For those of you who are complaining about stability. Quit putting crap software on there, use certified drivers. Things like that. My system runs perfectly fine, been on for 57 days now. With no issues. I dont do the updates because I am behind a firewall, and another thing, spyware, quit going to random sites, I have _*never*_ had spyware/adware, and use IE. I like Microsoft, Windows, Office, Linux, KDE. I use them all.
