My first impression about LinuxWorld 2006 was – This is BIIIIG! As I walked down the escalator in the Moscone Center in San Francisco I could see the big flashy banners, the props and the mascots from the vendors. It seemed like just another tradeshow. Hank Jenssen and myself attended the OSCON on the 27th and 28th of July. We did not attend the tutorials or the Executive briefing but were there two days of the two and a half days the sessions were in progress.
